Should I use Instant or Replo?
Use Instant if you want to change the whole storefront, including the header, footer, navigation and cart drawer. Use Replo if you mainly need high-performing landing pages and the rest of the theme is fine as it is.
That is the actual distinction, and it is more useful than any feature table. Instant positions itself as a theme builder rather than a page builder, and the difference shows up the first time you want to change something outside the main content area.
What can Instant change that Replo cannot?
- Header and navigation, including menu structure
- Footer
- Cart drawer, which is one of the highest-impact and least-touched surfaces in most stores
- Product templates as theme sections rather than as standalone builder pages
That cart drawer point deserves more attention than it gets. It is the last thing a buyer sees before checkout and in most stores it is whatever the theme shipped with, untouched, because changing it traditionally meant editing Liquid.
Where does Replo still win?
On the specific job of a paid-traffic landing page. Built-in A/B testing and page-level revenue analytics are aimed squarely at that use case, and if that is your bottleneck, that focus is worth more than breadth.
Which one is better value?
Instant tends to be cheaper for unlimited pages, with entry pricing in the region of $39 a month against Replo’s roughly $99. But the tools are not doing the same job, so the comparison only holds if you genuinely need both to do the same thing.
Do I need a page builder at all?
Not necessarily. If your pages change rarely, native Liquid theme sections cost nothing monthly, load fastest, and never break when a subscription lapses. Builders earn their keep on pages you edit often.
I say this to clients regularly and it costs me work, so take it as sincere: a lot of stores are paying a monthly subscription to maintain three pages that have not been touched in a year. Those pages should have been built natively.
The verdict
Common questions
Is Instant a page builder or a theme builder?
A theme builder. Alongside pages it can build headers, footers, navigation menus, cart drawers and product templates, which conventional page builders such as Replo generally cannot touch.
Is Instant cheaper than Replo?
Generally yes. As of August 2026 Instant’s entry pricing sits around $39 per month against roughly $99 for Replo, though the two tools are aimed at different jobs so price alone is a weak comparison.
Can I use Instant and Replo together?
Technically yes, but it is rarely a good idea. Two builders means two subscriptions, two sets of injected scripts and two things to rebuild if either is dropped.
Building a whole storefront rather than one page? That is a store build.
